"In 1986, I began over a decade of public service in Washington, DC, working for members of the Pennsylvania Congressional Delegation. I worked his way up from Staff Assistant Legislative Director. During that time, I worked on such bills as the Oil Spill Prevention Act and the Clean Air Act of 1990 and the Telecommunications Act of 1996.

After twelve years on Capitol Hill, I joined GIS Associates, Inc., a government affairs firm, in 1999. Since that time, I have done work for clients as diverse as the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority (ALCOSAN), the Alle-Kiski-Revitalization Corporation (AKRC), the Borough of Tarentum, EcoClean, Inc. Highlands School District, JFM Communications, MCS Logistics, Inc., the NorthShore Community Alliance (formerly Neighborhood Centers Association), The North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA), the North American Trade School (NATS), the Pennsylvania Association of Private School Administrators ( PAPSA), and 3 Rivers Wet Weather.
