"Hi! I'm Henry, a graduate student in Ohio State University's Philosophy and History of Education program. I did my undergraduate degree in Philosophy, graduated magna cum laude, and was named the Ohio University Philosophy Department's Mary Spetnagel Outstanding Graduating Senior for the 2019-20 schoolyear. Throughout my academic career, I have honed my writing, critical reading, and proofreading skills and developed a wide range of tips and tricks to have you writing your best work in no time! My goal is to bring these skills and others I have picked up to my students in a way that is intuitive and easy to understand. The most important part of my approach to writing is to help students express themselves on the page just as they would in conversation, while also taking advantage of the opportunity for precision and efficiency the written form offers.

I have a wealth of experience with writing in academic settings, both at the high school and university level. My work has ranged from narrative fiction and non-fiction, to rigorous analytical philosophy, to literary analysis. As such, I have developed a range of tips and tricks for proofreading and editing existing work to make it as snappy, persuasive, and free-flowing as possible.
