"I have always enjoyed math and science!

I am currently completing my final semester of graduate school for an MS degree in bioengineering. I had a few fantastic professors along the way, both in math and science, that opened my eyes to the power of "following the logic"- that is, understanding the material in a way that is not simply regurgitating the information. Through developing a thorough understanding of a baseline in these subjects, a student can be prepared for any question that requires them to synthesize the information.

I minored in pure mathematics in college, and my coursework included: Calculus II & III, Linear Algebra, Proofs, Biostatistics, Complex Variables, and Ordinary Diff Eq. My graduate degree is in bioengineering, and my coursework included: Analytical Methods for Engineers and Numerical Methods.

I was awarded the American Chemical Society (ACS) Undergraduate Award in Organic Chemistry my sophomore year of college. I also worked as an organic chemistry undergraduate research assistant for two years and developed an independent research project. I was an organic chemistry TA for a year, and a tutor for a semester.
