"Since 1982 I have helped many schools, human service agencies, and other non-profits seek and secure grant funding for a multitude of projects. I have authored over 200 successful proposals totaling $20 million+ in funding, and provided evaluation services for 160+ projects. I retired from a great career as a Grants and Evaluation Coordinator with a public school system, and would like to pursue teaching grantwriting skills. Since retirement I have updated my Art Education teaching license to include Parenting Education certification, and am interested in facilitating parenting education within high risk parent populations--young parents, incarcerated parents, those in recovery from addictions, etc.

I am particularly interested in helping younger people learn the grantwriting trade. Feedback from various workshops I've facilitated have been very positive and people express a great need for this service.

I have authored many successful grant proposals and am good at responding to prompts, directions, required content, etc. in a way that has gotten the attention of many funders. I am very adept at putting together compelling needs statements, conducting research through surveys and assessment development, and providing structured evaluation plans. I am good at editing and have helped many people compile winning award and recommendation letters. Most of all, I have a love of teaching and now that I am retired, I would like to help younger people learn the grantwriting craft.
