"I have a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from Ray College of Design-Ray Vogue. I am working in fashion for 19 years. I used to own a fashion house in Athens, where I designed and created my own garments.

Through my work I was taught the power of communication. I have won twice an award from the Chicago Fashion Group Competition and I was chosen by the Air France Competition to participate in fashion shows in New York. I also exposed my work in Merchandise Mart.

All these years,I shared my love for designing and sewing with people who had the same passion.

Offering comprehensive sewing instructions to all ages and for all stages of sewing expertise, I trained students to become tailors, fashion designers or accessories designers.

Sewing is art and to make your fantasy garment a reality, you need to know how to put your idea on paper, make the pattern and sew the garment. I have been professionally sewing for 12 years in Europe and the last 6 years in Chicago.

My knowledge in textiles and my sewing/pattern making skills make me able to commit to work with students with an encouraging teaching style. I can also teach you how to make pattern fitting, bridal, hats, handcrafted jewelry, bags and embroidery. My goal is to help you master the sewing techniques and to bring out the creative artist to everyone.

I was born in Greece and Greek is my native language. I also teach both kids and adults in all levels, Greek as a second language. I worked with elementary, middle school students and college students, and know how to motivate them learning and encouraged them to live up to their true potential.

As a mother of three, I know very well how to intervene with challenging student behavior.
