I am a certified teacher (MSDE Advanced Professional Certificate - Highly Qualified –Elementary Education and Middle School, Mathematics 4-9). My teaching experience includes Math, French, English and other subjects to people of all ages. During the past 15 years, I have had the pleasure of working mostly with students in grades 5-9, including English Language Learners (ELL/ESOL).

In Math, I have helped many students (elementary through Algebra) to identify and overcome their weaknesses and learn new material. As they advanced, they became more confident in their abilities in Math and other academic areas.

My Bachelor's degree in French, time spent in Paris studying at la Sorbonne, and experience studying other languages, helps me to understand the challenges in learning a new language - especially French. I have tutored and helped several beginning and intermediate level students to "catch up" and successfully complete their French classes.

I also have an MBA and many years of experience in HR, career development, recruiting, staffing, and training people in different kinds of organizations. Using various tools and techniques, I have helped many people to evaluate their background, skills and interests, and to develop and implement personalized plans to achieve their short and long term goals. I have also worked with people, with varied levels of education and experience, to create and revise their resumes, CVs and cover letters in order to successfully apply for employment.
