"Hello! My name is Lily. I teach at Brown University during the summer and at a regional university during the academic year. I also serve as an interviewer for Harvard admissions and a judge for ISEF qualifying science fairs. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Physics with a minor in Economics from Wellesley College and a Master’s in Mathematics for Teaching from Harvard University, where I earned a place on the Dean’s List. My work and study experiences in Barcelona, London, Hong Kong, and Beijing enrich my teaching, including a Medical Mandarin course at Einstein.

With a background as an engineer for an S&P 50 company and a PhD candidacy in Applied Mathematics, I engage students through real-world applications. My teaching style is personalized to each student's unique learning interests and abilities. Together, we can make the subject resonate, whether you are a drama student, a social studies enthusiast, or a lover of numbers.

For SAT preparation, I go beyond teaching test-taking strategies by connecting students' curricula to SAT questions, providing vital context in history, science, and economics. My students often report that the skills they develop during test preparation with me are transferable to their other courses and AP classes.

Passionate about mentoring in STEM competitions, I prepare students for the American Mathematics Competition (AMC) and the International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF), where I placed fourth in biochemistry as a contestant. Since then, I have served as a judge. My expertise in STEM and public speaking helps students effectively present technical content.
