"Do you wonder how some people sail through standardized tests with ease, while you struggle and run out of time? Solving problems and acing exams is a bit like chopping vegetables: the right tools (like a good knife) make your job WAY quicker and easier. Want to learn how to "dissect" and "chop up" your test/course problems? I’d love to help you!
In 2023, I got a PhD in Chemistry at Harvard where I was awarded a "Harvard Excellence in Teaching" award as a Teaching Fellow for undergraduate chemistry. To get there, I’ve had top performance on standardized tests, including a 2380 on the SAT, 8 5's on AP exam and was admitted into the top graduate schools, including MIT, Stanford, Princeton, and Caltech. I graduated in Chemical Physics from Brown University in 2017, and have been a TA for 3 courses. I've also done chemistry demos to over 150 students over the span of 2 years, to help give middle and high school students a taste of working with cryogenic temperatures. Through this, I've gotten to practice being as simple and clear as possible when teaching chemistry - while still conveying correct information!
Through it all, I've had my fair share of exams and courses, and I'm happy to work WITH you to acquire tools to understand chemistry, and beat your exams.
My tutoring:
At the high school level, I specialize in helping prepare for the SAT, SAT Chemistry exams and AP Chemistry.
At the college level, I specialize in developing clarity and mastery in chemistry, particularly covering general chemistry, organic chemistry, and inorganic chemistry. I also focus on exam preparation for the MCAT chemistry section as well as the GRE.
I am also happy to consider requests involving more advanced subjects, though this may be subject to a higher rate.
I look forward to working with you! Please reach out with any questions you may have. I am easy to reach and will do my best to quickly determine if I can be of assistance." less...
