Hello and welcome! In my 20+ years as a tutor I've worked with countless students on test prep, academic support, writing, and college application coaching. My students range in age from 10 to 60 and come from diverse backgrounds. And thanks to modern technology, I can work with students around the world.

MY APPROACH:

My approach is highly individualized. No two students are alike, so I customize every lesson to your unique strengths and learning styles. For every hour I spend in session, I spend 2-3 hours preparing lessons plans and assignments designed just for you. I also provide FREE offline support over email and text, something very few tutors offer. The way I see it, I only succeed if you succeed.

ABOUT ME:

I have a bachelor's degree in English from Harvard and a master's in physics from Columbia, where I was a Graduate Teaching Assistant. I also taught at an elite private high school in Manhattan for several years. In addition to being a teacher, I'm a bestselling author who frequently coaches other writers. When not teaching or writing, I like to play music and cook.
