A bit about me -- in 2019 I graduated magna cum laude with a BA in literature from Harvard University, where I was awarded multiple competitive essay prizes in my department and elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. In 2023, I earned my Master’s degree in Writing from the Michener Center for Writers at UT Austin, a fully-funded fellowship program that typically reports a ~2% acceptance rate. I’ve been tutoring high school and college students in one-on-one and small group settings since 2016. One of my core specialties is writing coaching, and I have experience assisting students with the following: Common App and college supplement essays, graduate school application essays, high school/college/graduate school term papers, and creative writing portfolios. In addition, having earned a perfect score on the SAT in high school, I also specialize in standardized test preparation including for the new Digital SAT. I'm proud to report that my students and advisees have been accepted to Columbia, Cornell, Duke, USC, UCLA, NYU, UMich and Cambridge University -- among other institutions -- and that I've helped students to achieve score improvements of over 200 points on the Digital SAT.

In my own learning journey, I’ve been motivated above all by the joy of discovery and achievement. By far, the most meaningful part of my work as a tutor has been assisting students to find joy, purpose, and confidence in their own learning.
