"Teaching and mentorship have always been important to me. From high school to my surgical residency, I have had the privilege to tutor and mentor over a hundred students in various subjects. Whether it is guiding someone towards admission to their college of choice, investment bank, or medical school, I am fortunate to have been able to help. Even as a surgery resident at MGH, I am actively tutoring and mentoring across various non-profit organizations within New York and helping someone get closer to their goal is what I love to do.

For standardized exams, I have tutored high school for the SAT/ACT exams all throughout my undergraduate years. Throughout undergrad, I shared both my approaches to questions and test taking strategies with my students. I have taught the ACT/SAT privately and with many tutoring companies and have learned how to tailor a study and test-taking strategy based on the strengths of each student. I also help with the MCAT by ensuring efficient use of time, resources, and effort when working through content review.

For science and finance related subjects my approach is to replace memorization with understanding. By working with students and helping them build their knowledge of a topic from its foundation, my students can think more critically about the topic. As a result, both student's grades and enthusiasm for the subject increase.

For interview prep and career development, I emphasize not only how to come across well via a personal statement or a resume, but also tools that can help someone become a successful communicator. Whether it’s diction, intonation, or rate of speech, I feel privileged to have helped so many people succeed professionally.
