Hello! My name is Shreya. I have coached 50+ students through the college admissions process, and my students have gone on to schools including Harvard, Ivy Leagues, MIT, Duke, and more. I offer help with essay writing, structuring your application, choosing schools to apply to, and how to best leverage your activities and honors. College applications have evolved a lot in recent years, particularly after changes to standardized testing. As a student who went through the application process recently, gaining admission to several T10 schools, I have an inside perspective that I want to share with you. We will walk how to emphasize your unique strengths in your application -- I will not write your essay for you! Several of my students have gained admission to their dream school, even with a low GPA, low SAT, or few extracurriculars. With a strong essay, anything is possible.

A bit more about me: I applied to college in Fall 2020 as a pre-med student. I was admitted to several T20 schools and BS/MD programs and was granted several full-ride merit scholarships. At Harvard, I'm double majoring in Molecular Biology and Government. I have taken advanced writing courses and enjoy writing for literary journals on campus. I am extremely passionate about teaching and tutoring, and take a supportive, structured, and compassionate approach to college counseling. I will not write your essays for you, but I will put in hours beyond our meetings to make sure you have all the support you need to create something that truly reflects your unique life journey. For each hour I meet with a student, I usually do 2-3 hours of background research.
