"Hello, everyone,
My name is Kaylie and I am 22 years old. I have a Bachelors Degree of social work and I am currently working on receiving my Masters. I have experience tutoring all ages, including individuals with IEP's. While receiving my undergraduate degree, I developed a passion for tutoring and have been doing so since.
I love tutoring because, being able to help others while seeing their personal progress is a very rewarding experience for me. I have smaller siblings so I've always had a taste of what tutoring was like in a sense. Being able to work with learners from different backgrounds and in different areas allows me to not only gain insight within my own practice but allows me to grow along with my learners in multiple areas. I enjoy helping my learners build confidence within themselves, while reaching their goals.
I have always had an interest in science, and this interest has followed me throughout my life. Preforming proficiently within this area throughout high school and college I have grown to love helping others do so!
I understand that English can be a very difficult subject for many. While obtaining my degree in social work, English became a huge priority of mine. I had to learn to not only understand it but, also to incorporate it into my practice. After years of doing so I have become very proficient in this area.
I have a great passion for working with individuals who have special needs and mental health challenges. I have previously worked with the special needs population and I am now working with mental health. I understand that within these populations individuals are in need of a plan specifically tailored towards them, which not only helps them grow but also highlights their capabilities.
Whatever the subject, I'm sure that I am able to be a great help so, please feel free to contact me to learn more and discuss how I may be a help to you!" less...
