"I have a high school diploma from Clovis North Educational Center and am continuing my education at UC Riverside. Throughout my years in high school, I have taken a total of 15 AP classes and several honors/advanced classes. In the past for two years, I have tutored middle and high school students (13-18 year old age group) who have not been able to pass their classes. My teaching style varies depending on the student and what kind of learner they are because there is not one style that fits all. Whether it's through visual models, explaining the process of answering a questions, testings, making flashcards, making the student teach me, doing more examples, and more, I will be able to implement any of these teaching practices to help my student towards success.
During high school, I participated in several extracurricular activities including: ballet (15 years), piano (14 years), Science Olympiad (6 years) - placed 1st in several events and made it to state competition, and more. I also received the highest score of a 5 in these AP classes: AP World History, AP US History, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Spanish Language and Culture, AP Psychology, AP Environmental Science, AP Language and Composition, AP Literature and Composition, AP Macroeconomics, and AP Statistics. Furthermore, I received a raw score of 34 and a superstore of 35 on the ACT exam.
