"Hello! My name is Mauna, and I am a current biochemistry Master's student at Georgia Tech. I have gotten my bachelor's degree in biology at Georgia Tech as well.

I have tutored for a total of around 3-4 years in both high school and college level biology, chemistry, geometry, and algebra. I have also been an SAT math tutor for a year and a half. I work especially well with students who are struggling to understand concepts, or who have difficulty staying focused in class.

Additionally, I have 3 years of experience of being a teachers assistant for biology, chemistry, and biochemistry college classes. I was recommended and selected by my professors for this position.

I have taught in every kind of setting from volunteering with students with learning disabilities, in the classroom as a teaching assistant with students, and independently online during covid lockdown. I currently prefer online tutoring as I do not have time or means for commuting." less...
