I have been teaching elementary math for the past 18 years. I use a hands-on approach, as well as challenging students to see math in a new light.

For the past 18 years I have been teaching reading to students who struggle with reading. I have many different approaches to advancing students in the area of reading.

My Special Education background has given me 18 years of experience with students who have these diagnoses. There are various strategies that I've incorporated into teaching my students to learn to cope with their disability. I show them how to utilize their strengths.
