"I am Louis P., and I am currently a Professor of Computer Science at City University of New York; I have been teaching courses as a faculty member for over 10 years. I also teach courses in Mathematics at my school. I obtained my Undergraduate Degree in Physics from Rutgers University in New Jersey. Then I proceeded to obtain my PHD degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology. My PHD thesis was in Mathematics (Graph Theory) that is closely related to Computer Science. I enjoy also teaching High School students Mathematics as I prepared several students for the SAT examinations.

I like to engage in an informal way with students as it is important to make the relationship teacher-student friendly so students feel comfortable asking questions. At the first meeting I try to understand the knowledge the student masters regarding basic background required for a specific course.
