"I have much to offer as my experience teaching spans across the country. I started teaching 2nd grade right after I graduated from Marygrove College (1988) located in Detroit, MI with a B.A. Early Childhood Development, I taught 2nd through 5th grades all subjects in my early career. M.A in Elementary Education from U of D Mercy, Detroit, MI.

Soon after, I became the first Elementary Academy Director of Detroit Edison Public Schools Academy (1996 -2001). I became principal of a new (K-5) Charter school in Detroit, MI. Relocated to Las Vegas, NV where I worked for 11 years as a elementary and middle school teacher. My favorite subjects were English and writing.

In 2013, I relocated to Atlanta, GA where I taught 5th and 1st grades before retiring in 2015 after 27-years of teaching K-8, with four of those years being an administrator. In 2017, I moved to Jalisco, Mexico and lived there four years. I’m an author, blogger and started my own brand. In 2023, I traveled to the continent of Africa, visiting Guinea Bissau and Egypt. I started a nonprofit organization.
