I am a music teacher and composer/producer located in Long Beach.
I have been an educator for 5+ years and currently hold a bachelors degree in music from the Bob Cole Conservatory of music Magna Cum Laude.
My professional experiences as a musician include scoring (15+ short films and work with Hallmark and Music Libraries) Singing (5. International tours, just dance, Disney junior holiday party) and music directing work with local middle and high schools in the area.
Alongside my private lesson business I have been a vocal and piano instructor at the Irvine School of Music where I am also the head of the Vocal Department.
My style of music lessons are fun and motivating building a curriculum around students interests. For example if you love pop music we might dissect your favorite song and talk about the theory and replicating. I have also found many fun analogies for explaining hard topics that are easy to grasp. For example building chords or scales using a formula, and visualizing sound with the voice.
