I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) and am currently a full-time Master of Social Work (MSW) student at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Jane Addams College of Social Work. As I finish my first year, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA and consistently received 100% scores on my graduate-level papers.

During undergrad, I was premed and later attended medical school in the Caribbean for a semester before realizing that social work better fit my goals. My academic background has given me firsthand experience with undergraduate and graduate school applications, and I was accepted into every undergraduate school I applied to. I also successfully applied and interviewed for my current internship, where I write professional therapy documentation and case notes, gaining hands-on experience in clinical and professional writing.
