"Hi! My name is James Shue. I am a recent graduate of Brown University with a degree in History. I am an experienced tutor in all things from Algebra, SAT/ACT Prep, AP Government, AP US History, to artistic pursuits such as Guitar. My entire life I have loved helping others reach their best academic potential. I love helping students find what they are good at, their best tactics for success and strategies to be the best versions of themselves.

I am highly organized, thorough, and never quit until a student is able to feel confident in themselves and their abilities. As a tutor in the past, I have focused primarily on humanities, writing and math, and I am able to structure a lesson structure that sets each individual up for optimal success. Most of my students were ages 12-18 and online, but I am comfortable with a wide range of ages and backgrounds. Most importantly, I strive to unsure that students can find even a small amount of fun in subjects that often times give them trouble or anxiety.
