"I have been teaching high school chemistry (CP, Honors and AP) for 3 years. Before that I taught college level chemistry at a community college in North Carolina for 10 years. I have always focused on building a relationship with my students and meeting their individual needs.

I received my undergraduate degree in chemistry from Wake Forest University in 1988 and then my Ph.D. in chemical oceanography from Florida State University in 1995. I love chemistry and its application to everyday life. I find the math to be elegant and useful in explaining many of our everyday life phenomena.

I am available for face to face tutoring either at your location or a public location. Since I teach full time, I am available most days after school (4:30) until early evening." less...
