"I have twenty-eight years of broad-based professional experience, with the past eleven years working as a Professor in higher education. I also hold a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from Valparaiso University.

In my role as an educator, I routinely counseled and mentored students in variety of subjects including history, law, management, marketing and other general business courses. In addition, I have tutored students who have sought to improve their writing skills.

I am comfortable in working high school students, traditional age college students and adult learners as I have teaching experience with each of these groups. Furthermore, I have instructed traditional, accelerated and online courses and have a working knowledge of the requirements needed to excel in each.

My degree in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame involved a specialization in Communication. This provided me with a solid understanding of English and grammar concepts. During my eleven years of experience in higher education, I have worked with hundreds of students on improving their writing skills. This includes working with individuals one on one or providing feedback through an online platform.

Prior to working in higher education, I earned a J.D. from the Valparaiso University School Law. Subsequently, I practiced law for seven years and then transitioned into a career field which included marketing, sales and international business. During my time in higher education, I have leveraged my previous professional experience and taught numerous business course including: Business Law, International Marketing, Leadership, Management, Marketing, Operations Management and Sport Management.

During my legal career, I worked three years as a Defense Attorney and four years as a Prosecutor. In this latter role, I regularly was involved with criminal investigations. In addition, I have instructed Criminal Justice classes.
