"My name is Jared L and I am a graduate of San Diego State University's Computer Engineering program. While enrolled I studied between topics involving electrical engineering and computer engineering. However my university enforced a broad general education set of requirements including physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology, as well as several liberal arts. As a result I was enriched with several courses that demanded a great deal of my attention during my studies. This trained me to be a better student and to identify the pitfalls involved in learning new materials in subjects I was newly introduced to. And that's where you come in: I can offer you the skills most useful in absorbing information in your studies and the effective habits needed to master them.

I have one year of tutoring students under my belt coaching them through topics including calculus geometry, biology, physics, and civics. I worked directly with students through web cam study sessions or side by side in university libraries. The most common response to my instructional style was that I was approachable and effective in my communication style with students. The best way to move through weaknesses in studies is to address them directly after all!

My goal with students is to see things that can improve and offer suggestions as well as subject matter knowledge they can use to help master the material they work on.
