"I recently retired from a NC public high school as a chemistry and advanced placement chemistry teacher. I have 35 years of experience of teaching chemistry and 12 years of teaching advanced placement chemistry at a High School in Hillsborough NC. In addition, I have personally tutored a UNC student for two semesters while she was taking chemistry and numerous orange county students located at Cedar Ridge. Of course I tutored my own students as part of my job description and commitment to their success but not for monetary reasons.

I am currently ready to begin a new venue and get back to teaching after taking 5 months off due to my retirement travels.

I have 35 years of experience teaching chemistry at NC public schools out of which 31 years was at Orange High School. I took course work in chemical engineering at NC State University and graduated with honors in science education at NC State University.
