"Hi, I'm Martin! I am currently a sophomore student at Stony Brook University, studying and pursuing Mathematics. I am also on track for the Combined Bachelor’s/Master of Arts in Teaching Degree Program for Mathematics. I graduated from Spackenkill High School, and there I developed a deep passion for aiding students in understanding mathematics material and engaging them in absorbing the knowledge necessary to succeed! I am well-versed in the subjects of high school and introductory college math courses, such as Algebra I and II, Calculus I, II, AP Calc (AB and BC), Differential equations, Trigonometry, and more.

My goal as a tutor and future teacher is to not only help students succeed in math, but also forge connections with others by cultivating their academic and adaptational skills, confidence, and their passions and aspirations. It fulfills me to know I am helping students with the process I once had to go through as well. I believe I have excellent interpersonal, patience, and empathetic skills necessary to assist students in not just understanding the content, but also being able to truly retain and apply their knowledge to test-taking, their passions, and more!
