"I am a high school computer science teacher in the Dallas area. I have my Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas and I am currently pursuing my Master's of Science in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin. While attending the University of Texas at Dallas, I earned my Associate's degree in Secondary STEM Education through the UTeach Program.

I am a certified teacher in the state of Texas for Computer Science 7-12 (241). Before teaching high school, I was the Assistant Director of a STEM tutoring center focusing on computer programming and technology education. During my time in school, I also worked as a tutor for elementary and middle school students in general English, Mathematics, and computer science.

I have had great success with my methods of teaching that heavily involve connecting topics of computer science to the real world and to the students. I take a visual approach for complex topics in computer science to help students obtain a concrete understanding of the core topics.
