"I received my B.A. in History from Siena College (NY), and my M.Ed in High School History from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. I am qualified to tutor in and teach history because I was previously licensed, and have taught in the classroom. As a teacher, I am well versed in the current teaching methods being used in the classroom (including the Common Core and Understanding by Design). I am qualified to tutor in writing and English because mastery of those subjects is required in order to teach students how to communicate their thoughts and opinions about any subject (i.e. history), and therefore was responsible for helping students improve their writing skills in addition to facilitating the expansion of their knowledge of history. I am an extremely capable writer and have an advanced understanding of grammar. I have ghost written for different academic entities, and have also helped some of them through the proofreading process.
