"Hello everyone! My name is Maddie and I am currently an experienced high school mathematics teacher. I hold a Massachusetts teaching license, certified for mathematics grades 5-12 which holds reciprocity in 46 other states. I have tutored students enrolled in many different courses, including but not limited to Geometry, Statistics and AP Calculus. My philosophy stems in the base of problem solving and establishing strong foundational skills. I value students as individuals and tailor instruction to what best suits the learner! I have been teaching/tutoring for 5+ years and have experience with many different learners and in many different settings.

I am a graduate of UMass Amherst with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Boston University with a Master's in Mathematics Education.

Over the years, I have realized the importance of educating and relationship building as an individual process. I have always enjoyed the teachers, professors and mentors who not only showed an interest in their field, but an interest in bettering others' journeys as well. I enjoy getting to know my students for who they are, and I value human connection and support systems more than anything. I believe success looks different to everyone, and I want to understand how you want to succeed, what I can do to help push you in that direction, and support you in that process.

As a side not, in my free time I enjoy working out, exploring Boston and socializing with my friends! I'm always excited to talk about anything Boston or fitness related! I look forward to learning more about you and how I can help.
