"I'm a AP Biology/Chemistry/Environmental science teacher with a love for teaching! I have a creative teaching style and help students with test taking strategies, note-taking, as well as content. I have 8 years of experience as a teacher and 15 + year of experience tutoring various science subjects.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Appalachian State and am a 2011 Texas Teaching Fellow. This is my 8th year teaching high school science and I have taught AP Biology, AP Chemistry, IPC (Integrated physics and chemistry), Environmental science, and Earth Science. I have been nominated for teacher of the year multiple times for my teaching style and enthusiasm for education.

Throughout my teaching career I have tutored various science subjects and have helped students succeed in their courses. Within a couple of weeks of tutorials, students have increased their grade in the class and gained confidence in material.
