"Hi, Shreeya here! I am currently an undergraduate student at UNC Chapel Hill majoring in Computer Science. I graduated high school with a 4.5 GPA and a 1500 SAT score. I got admitted into some of the top Computer Science universities in the country. In college, I have taken computer sciences that include Discrete math, Data structures etc.
I am passionate about making learning enjoyable for students and the high school process smoother including college prep. I worked at a well-known learning center (reading and math center) as a teaching assistant to help young students gain interest in learning while improving their fundamental reading and math skills. I taught middle schoolers math during Covid-19 and individually worked with a student to teach them with a method and pace suited for them.
I am committed to helping students through the high school process which seemed daunting to me at some point and help elementary and middle schoolers learn their courses the right way. I look forward to teaching high school courses ranging from AP computer science, AP Statistics, AP Chemistry, Biology, Math 1, 2, AP English, and a lot more. I also work with students learning coding languages such as Python, Java, C etc.
Having recently navigated through the college application journey myself, I understand the intricacies involved in crafting a compelling profile that sets you apart. Whether it's mastering SAT preparation or refining your college essays, I possess the expertise to guide you through every step of the process.
I want to benefit the students I work with as much as possible, therefore welcome any resources or suggestions any students or parents can provide. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!" less...
