"Hi! I'm Evan, a New York University graduate with a BA in Finance. I volunteered as a tutor for my high school in all types of high school mathematics, including Algebra I and II, Geometry, Calculus AB and BC, and Statistics, and received great reviews from students that I mentored. Beyond classwork, I am also able to tutor for standardized tests, including the SAT and ACT tests.

As a tutor, my goal is to help students fully grasp mathematical concepts that they may be struggling with. I achieve this by individualizing the tutoring experience for each student. I understand that every student has different concerns, meaning a solution for one student may not work for another. By listening and paying attention to everything that a student says, I am able to come up with the best ways to help a student learn key concepts. I want students to feel confident in their abilities to learn difficult concepts.
