I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry and a Ph.D. in Genomic Sciences from the University of Tennessee. I am a Ph.D. Bioanalytical Chemist and I have worked for 20+ years in Government, Industrial, and Academic laboratories. I have taught and tutored Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, etc. at the University and High School levels for over ten years. I bring a unique real-world perspective to my tutoring lessons from a diverse professional background. I am very patient and careful in explaining complex scientific concepts to students with diverse backgrounds and experience levels. I craft each session to the individual student as all students are different with unique strengths and weaknesses. Through years of teaching a wide variety of science subjects, to students at a variety of levels, I've learned the pitfalls, and the common areas of confusion, and I've also known how to best explain complex STEM/Science concepts, making science understandable and enjoyable. My students have always dramatically improved their performance after just a few tutoring sessions.
