"My name is Anita, and I have been passionately teaching English for over 30 years. I embrace diversity and cultural learning. I speak Persian (Farsi), English, Arabic, and French. I hold a BA in French and an MA in Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language, along with certificates in time management, study skills, conflict resolution, and goal setting. Over the past 30 years, I have taught at various educational levels in four countries across two continents, working with students from over 32 nationalities. I create customized lessons for my students and my teaching philosophy revolves around focusing on promoting independent learning.
My professional roles have included university faculty member, director of a writing center, tutor, teacher, writing specialist trainer, IELTS certified examiner, TOEFL and GRE writing teacher, test writer, student services coordinator, coach, and ESL/EFL/IELTS material writer.
My English certificates include FCE, CAE, and CPE from Cambridge University, and I also have certificates of mastery in Farsi from American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).
