My name is Jill and I am currently teaching students in grades K-8 technology at Houston Elementary School. I have been teaching for 21 years in the Philadelphia area. I have completed my Masters Degrees in the following: Elementary Education K-6, Special Education and Educational Leadership for students in grades and through K-12. I can offer highly individualized instruction for your child based upon their needs.  

I love working with children and I assure you that my 21 years as an educator and two years as a adjunct professor preparing educators to teach high and low incidence Special Education students in K-12 at Chestnut Hill College Graduate School has provided me with the skill set and strategies necessary to support and encourage your child to learn and grow at maximum capacity, and increase their confidence to a level they will need to succeed both in literacy and/or math. 

Every child learns differently, so it will be necessary to design a specific, research-based FUN and engaging curriculum for your child. I am knowledgeable in Common Core Standards for each grade and the requirements that they are expected to meet in all grade levels. I have extremely high expectations, but also believe that the only way to meet these expectations is by working together as a TEAM!!

I have a plethora of resources for both you and your child and will accommodate the specific academic areas in need of growth. My hours are flexible after-school hours and I will accommodate your schedule.
