If you select me as your tutor, I can assist with your studies and test preparation - but also open your eyes to the world of history between the lines, and history that has been "rewritten by the victors." I believe that all people should learn to think critically and use a variety of primary sources to reveal the bigger picture. I am particularly interested in history of oppressed people's, such as indigenous Native Americans and Black History. A decade-long resident of Washington, DC that graduated summa cum laude from Canisius College (with a degree in Political Science, International Relations, History, and Criminal Justice - I aim to prepare students for exams and their coursework, and if they're interested, also uncover a variety of perspectives and sources not typically utilized by mainstream historians.
