"Hi! I am very passionate about teaching and consider myself to be a lifelong learner! I have been tutoring for about 4 years and find it very rewarding to help kids "get it" after they have struggled with various concepts. As a classroom teacher, I realize that some kids just need a little more one-on-one instruction time that is not often available in a large classroom setting. I have personally witnessed the leaps and bounds a child can make with individual tutoring sessions.

I specialize in the areas of ELA, Social Studies, and Science. I am also certified in Special Education. I use various strategies of differentiated instruction in order to ensure that all learning styles and learning levels are addressed. It is imperative to finds ways to keep a child engaged, which can allow a child to retain more information.
