"I am a certified teacher and have worked with young people from diverse backgrounds in formal and informal educational settings since 1999. I have mentored, instructed a health/hygiene program, taught job and living skills for summer youth work program, and now teach social studies (my certification and first love). I have a love of reading and writing also and find that those "hobbies" fit well with teaching history (and other social studies subjects). I also enjoy time with my family, travel, swimming, fishing, and walking the dog. I have lived in 5 states and 1 foreign country, but recently returned to Florida to enjoy the sunshine.
