"My name is Randy, and throughout my life I have enjoyed being a teacher, instructor, and tutor for multiple subjects. I currently Possess an Associates of Arts from The Ohio State University, and I am a senior in the Exercise Science Education Program here at Ohio State. I possess a teaching certification from the YMCA to instruct numerous classes, including, but not limited to, CPR, Swimming, First Aid, and Lifesaving. I also have many years of experience teaching and tutoring.

I have taught at the YMCA (professionally) for almost a year, however, I have been doing in person tutoring throughout my colligate and high school career, helping friends, family, and doing a little bit of work to help my fellow classmates. I have tutored in various subjects, including history, social studies, government, writing, reading , and quite a few more. Throughout my time in college I have made various study groups to improve the grades of the entire class if they were willing, and set out to improve my knowledge while also helping others achieve the best work they can.

I generally like to allow students to work through things themselves, letting them think of the solutions and facilitating improvements in thought process and strategies, along with oftentimes giving a helping hand. I find that allowing the student to be able to learn to do something they have to do it, and me talking won't help most people to learn.

Finally, I will include some of my relevant test scores; on my AP Government and politics exam, I received a 5. On my ACT, I received a 28 overall, getting a 31 in science, and a 35 in reading as my main two scores. I also got a 1260 on the SAT , and also did very well on the writing portion.
