"Hello, welcome to my tutoring page! My name is Matt T. and I specialize in Advanced Placement US History, US History, Advanced Placement Human Geography and Geography. I work on course skills, test prep, test prep writing and general understanding of United States history and human geography. I have over 18 years of experience in the classroom as a social studies teacher. I have been teaching AP US History for 13 years and I have been an Advanced Placement grader for the last five years. I have been teaching AP Human Geography for three years but it has quickly become a passion of mine.

AP classes are some of the most challenging subjects to prepare for. Not only do you have to have a vast and in depth knowledge base, but you have to be a confident and skilled writer. Over the last few years, I have been a reader for the AP US History test. This is a prestigious position that is only awarded to the best of the best AP US History teachers in the country. Not only do I get to collaborate with other teachers, but I have first hand knowledge into what is required to achieve a high score on the test. As an AP US History teacher, my students have consistently scored 37% higher than the national average and I have a 90% passing rate.
