"Homeschool students and parents, I’m here to help you with math! As a homeschool parent and professional teacher, I can work with both students and adults. Students, I can help you deepen your knowledge, fill in the gaps, and take your skills to the next level. Parents, if you lack the knowledge or confidence needed to effectively support your child in math, I can work with you directly to rebuild long-forgotten skills or familiarize you with new methods so YOU can help your child. One-on-one or small groups, I can work with whatever format is best for you.
When you work with me, I will explain things in multiple ways until we find what works for you. We’ll do practice problems together, and I’ll help you see the patterns and deepen your understanding so you can be successful on your own. If you are stumped, I’ll do more than help you get the answer. I’ll help you understand what you need to know so the WHY and HOW make sense and you can solve related problems as well as build on your knowledge to learn new things. You can totally do this!

Now my wife and I are beginning our homeschool journey with our young children, and I want to get back to working with homeschool families. I love teaching and learning, and my desire is to support parents and students in the best possible classroom—their own home." less...
