"I am Jeanine, and I graduated from Anderson University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. I got to put my desire for one-on-one teaching to use when I began teaching my own children how to read and then later expanded to the other subjects. As the kids got older, I invited other homeschooling students to our house to join us for a science lesson twice a week. Later, I homeschooled an 8th grade student at our house full time before that student went elsewhere for high school. Another year, I homeschooled a 7th grader full-time at our house. I have also tutored middle school students for a short time to help them with math. I have also tutored a first grade student through the summer helping her with phonics to be a more fluent reader. I have tutored students who have had learning challenges such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and memory retention. I have been tutoring my own kids and other people's kids for ten years.
Our family has been blessed to have a separate house on our property where we have room to do our schoolwork that is away from the rest of the house. I prefer to meet at my house as I have all the needed supplies and comforts of a home atmosphere. However, if meeting at your house or another location suits you, then we can arrange that.
I am easy to reach and provide fast responses. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions and schedule a lesson!" less...
