"I specialize in tutoring students needing support in Honors Biology. I also teach honors biology to freshman and sophomores and AP biology to juniors and seniors. I love working with students one on one and it has always been my favorite part of teaching and according to supervisors, my strength. Therefore it seems natural for me to be tutoring. I also delight in tutoring students and getting to know them and adapting my lessons to match their strengths and develop their skills as needed. In this way, I find that students can be successful and become more confident.

I love science and sharing the amazing study of science. I took the most advanced science classes available in my high school. I scored a 35 and 34 in math and science on the ACT. I took years of science classes in college from physical chemistry to microbiology and zoology. I followed my desire to share my passion of learning and science. I first earned my teaching certificate and then my Masters in Education. Those studies plus over 12 years of teaching biology has given me a full palette of methods and skills to reach all students.
