"I have been singing since I was 4 years old, and while growing up, I also discovered my interest in business. Coming to the top-ranked Kelley School of Business and Hutton Honors College at Indiana University, I got the opportunity to combine my two passions. I am majoring in Marketing with a co-major in Business Analytics, and a minor in music. Through my academic pursuits and professional experience, I hope to be a part of the music business industry. I am very ambitious about understanding customer behavior and content marketing, why is why I hope to incorporate my business knowledge in my future endeavors.

Before coming to Indiana University, I was a co-founder of "Singing Sensations", which is an online music lessons business that helped raise funds for COVID-19. I took initiative since I saw a need for keeping our community connected with music to help get through the pandemic. We found creative ways to promote our business and engage involvement in the program, by hosting monthly showcases, classes, a website, and a Facebook page. I used incentives for younger students to motivate them to practice and have a very encouraging and motivating attitude towards helping students grow.

Currently, I am a Social Media Content Intern for IU, in which I help drive student engagement within campus. I thoroughly enjoy creating unique designs for flyers or Instagram story posts. Designing these promotional materials help me gain experience in Canva or Photoshop. In this role, I share my opinions with the content team by suggesting new video, story, or TikTok ideas that can be used in the future.

More than enjoying seeing students get good grades after getting tutoring, I really value what they actually learn and how they grow as student overall. I am great at adapting to different learning styles easily and catering to each student's specific goals." less...
