"I am a current honors college sophomore at the University of South Carolina with a major of mechanical engineering. I'm easygoing and patient, characteristics I've found important in my experience as a successful tutor. I am most knowledgeable and experienced in calculus and writing, with an accomplished background in both AP Calculus courses and AP English courses before college enrollment. For high school students taking these courses, I am still familiar with course content and AP exam questions/styling. For students at the college level, I have experience at this level writing final essays and passing stressful calculus exams.

I'm well familiar with teachers that struggle to effectively convey information, so my tutoring style comes from approaching the topic in a way I know many students, can understand. It's most important to me to impart knowledge that can be retained and applied later on, instead of having a simple, in the moment understanding. This involves breaking complex topics down into chunks, and moving at a pace that fosters knowledge intake instead of panic learning.
