"I am a PhD and Chemist actually working at the FDA at the National Center For Toxicological Research ( NCTR) in the analytical group of the Office of Scientific Coordination ( OSC) in Arkansas.

I got my Master and PhD Degree in Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus , with applications in analytical techniques such as high performance liquid chromatrography (HPLC) and solid phase microextraction (SPME). My PhD thesis research work was focused in the promotion of cytotoxic specific effects on resistant to conventional treatments B-Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (B-CLL) cells using different types of Zinc nanoparticles with and without photodynamic therapy (PDT). I have done my Internship for this PhD Thesis at the CUCAIBA, the Transplantation Center of the Ministry of Health of the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the La Plata Tissue Engineering, Regenerative Medicne and Cell Therapies Laboratory, Directed by Prof. Dr. Eduardo Mansilla MD, were I did all the living cell testing with our ZnO Nanoparticles. I have experience teaching organic chemistry laboratories, and general chemistry at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus.

I have experience in in the fields of nanotechnology, medicine, analytical chemistry, photochemistry, medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, laboratory techniques and instrumentation, including high performance liquid chromatrography (HPLC), solid phase microextraction (SPME), UV-visible spectrophometry and fluorescence spectroscopy, between many others.
