"I have been a substitute teacher in the Hampton/ Dumont schools for the past 11 years. I have worked with all ages of students at all levels of capabilities. I have an Elementary degree with endorsements in Reading, language arts, and Special Education.

I have also tutored privately. In the past some students I have helped include a Kindergarten student that needed help with basic reading and following directions but who did not qualify for special education . I also tutored a student entering 9th grade with grammar and reading when she needed to catch up to grade level after moving around many different schools and states. They both went on to being successful in their grade level classes. I love that through tutoring I can help a student with the one on one attention they need to move on to the next step of their education and future success.

I have a Bachelor of Science in English from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with Reading and Middle School Language Arts endorsements. I also have Minor in Psychology and an endorsement in Special Education.
