"I am a current Computer Science Educator who believes that all students can learn to program. I currently teach 7th and 8th grade students to program using Scratch, but have taught High School students Computer Science using the python language for 5 years. I have also taught web design using HTML and CSS to High School level students as well.

I have 17 years experience in the classroom and am a current teacher. I understand how students approach computer science problems and know how to help get them through those challenges. I also have tutoring experience working with students one on one to help them overcome their challenges and understand the concepts they are trying to learn.

I am an outstanding computer teacher because I have a keen insight on the pitfalls of computer science that students run into when learning how to program for the first time. I work very well with introductory level students and can explain computer science concepts in easy to understand ways for them to be successful.

I have a Masters from Concordia University Chicago and a degree in Business Education from Illinois State University.
