"I have been sewing for the past 15 years and my passion for sewing led me to become a FCS teacher where I could teach other how to sew! I have taught sewing to junior high kids for the past 5 years. Now as a stay at home mom, I want to continue to teach students how to sew, but on a smaller scale. I'm offering private or small group sewing lessons!

In the past 5 years I have successfully taught over 1,000 junior high students how to thread a sewing machine and make simple projects that students have been excited about!

As a FCS teacher, I was trained to teach students cooking/nutrition, sewing, interior design, and child care/development. I have taught these subjects for the past 5 years to junior high students in both charter and public schools. During the school shutdown in 2020 due to covid, I was still able to teach students how to cook at home remotely.

I can teach basic beginner sewing skills and intermediate sewing skills. I will take students at whatever level they are at and continue to teach and challenge to improve their skills. I am also available for help with school sewing projects as well!" less...
