"Hello! I have been working professionally with children aged 2-21 for the past 6 years. I have spent most of this time providing behavioral therapy for children with autism, and I love the challenge of helping kids develop independence. I have worked in a lower elementary and middle school as a one-to-one aide, where I love working on a variety of academic subjects.
I also have experience tutoring students aged 9 to 15. We have worked on reading, spelling, math, science, and/or social studies. My favorite part of this job is seeing the students' faces when a concept clicks into place.
I have spent this year learning the reading and math curriculum for lower elementary students, and I would love to help more students practice these foundational skills.
I studied through Calculus 1 in high school. I received a 5 on the Calculus 1 AP test and a 4 on the Statistics AP test. I currently tutor middle and high school math.
Chemistry is one of my favorite subjects, and I tutored a few students in chemistry during high school to help them prep for the final.
I love English, and I took a couple of English courses at the University of New Hampshire. I have tutored an 8-year-old in spelling and reading comprehension.
These are the areas I have the most experience with, but I am happy to expand my horizons. I am confident that we can make great progress together. Please reach out to me with any questions and for information about scheduling." less...
